I contracted with Ocean State Air Solutions install a split ductless system in my home. Chris, the salesperson, was very knowledgeable and presented me with a very fair and competitive price. Krista coordinated the install date and was very communicative with me. Ethan and Tyler were the installers and were courteous, conscientious and very professional. I was so satisfied that I immediately referred a family member to them for a humidifier install which is scheduled for next week and I have total confidence that the experience will be the same that I had. Congratulations to the owners for putting together a business they can be proud of.

I was referred to Ocean State Air by another HVAC contractor. I initially engaged OSA to install a dehumidifier and extend duct work for our office in a historic building. I was very pleased with their work. Thereafter I needed help with a more complicated project involving moving an air handler, so I went back to them for a quote. The president of OSA and their technician came to evaluate the project. They developed a creative solution to upgrade the air conditioner to a new heat pump while moving the air handler. They explained that I could offset the cost with an energy credit. OSA assigned one of their employees to walk us through and simplify the application process to qualify for a substantial energy credit. This was a 5-day project taking place while our busy office was in operation. We could not have been more impressed with the technicians who were courteous and knowledgeable. They finished the job on time and in accordance with the quote. We are very happy with their high level of service and results. I highly recommend OSA.

Ocean State Air came to the house diagnosed the problem with the A/C. They replaced a zone board and a blower motor. Zahro was knowledgeable and thorough with his work. He was pleasant to work with and answered all our questions. He is a great asset to your team.

Ocean State Team service is NOK they raised the service call price by $120 from last year to this year. We were told originally that we could have a service agreement but then their computer systems was not working so we had a verbal agreement of a set price. Today they tell us the price is $360!Ocean State Team were professional, polite and prompt. The team was a pleasure to work with and accommodated our requested customizations to fit in our older home. We highly recommend them.

I first met with Aaron with Ocean State Air Solutions in early 2022 looking for a heat and AC solution for my home. He took the time to understand my needs and involved Craig (owner) directly who came out on a separate visit to offer three options. All three were great each at different price points and with their own pros and cons. Ultimately, we selected the Mitsubishi Hyperheat 4 ton unit with two ducted air handlers complete with new ductwork. This was a big job as the house didn't have any existing ductwork and the structure was build with SIPs.The installation crew lead by Anthony along with Josh and Dylan where very professional and were able to tackle some complex challenges. In the end they successfully installed the system in time for summer which was a game changer as I work from home. There were a couple of problems with third party sensors which Matt from service quickly resolved under warranty.As time went on, strange popping noises coming from the largest vents located in the great room became very noticeable and annoying. I called OSAS and Service came out and investigated and it was decided to being Anthony back to further investigate. They tried a number of possible troubleshooting steps by to no avail. Lenny (head of ops) got directly involved and together they came up with and implemented a permanent correction for the problem. The problem seemed to stem from vent insulation into SIPs which introduced some complications as SIPs are not normally found in residential construction.The bottom line is I'm writing this review because they are a company who are not just great from a sales and installation perspective but also with service and support. They covered all of this additional work under warranty and were always processional and dedicated to fixing the issue. Outstanding service like that is hard to find these days and Craig and his team are among the best I have encountered. I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend the Ocean State Air Solutions for HVAC service and replacement. After 20+ years my gas furnace failed on Halloween. After getting bids, I selected Joe DeSilva's quote to install a new Bryant Preferred furnace in my basement coupled with a Single Zone Heat Pump outside which moves all hot and cold air thru my existing ductwork. All stages of my project were communicated and professionally executed from Joe's sales quote, Kristy's planning/communication to Anthony's 2-day install and Jane's rebate processing. Since I am a stakeholder with Rhode Island's Office of Energy Resources, it was important to stack rebates from RI Energy, Clean Heat RI, and the Federal Tax Credit all of which I captured this year as Joe quoted. Lastly, they were able to prioritize and complete my install before the weather got colder in December. This kept my family warm all winter and we will be cool this summer thanks to Ocean State.

Ocean State installed my system 3 years ago. What Craig told me what I should expect has far exceded my expections. My heating bill is 25% of what it was 3 years ago. My AC cost has been reduced by 50%. Also, Matt had done an excellent job on educating me on how to use the system as well as insuring that my system is performing at 100%. The office staff has been friendly and helpful in getting what I need quickly.My experience with Ocean State deserves all 5 of the stars

UPDATE:OSAS did respond to my complaint and explained why the brown could not be ordered at the time of my instillation. I highly respect a company that takes a problem seriously and tries to rectify it. I can now happily give them a 5 star review!I would have easily given this company a 5 star review as I was very pleased with the quality and instillation of my Mitsubishi mini-split system 4 years ago. I have a brown clapboard house and asked if the fortress tubing (used to cover the wires) came in brown, and was told it did not, so I painted the white tubing brown. 4 years later, the tubing has pulled away from the house, some of it cracked needing replacement. I again asked if it came in brown, and this time was told I could special order it. The appearance is so much better and I wish it was done this way at the start. Please keep this in mind before installing this system.bb

I recently selected Ocean State Air Solutions to install a rather large and complicated multi-zone heat pump system. The job took 13 days (team was on site daily - no delays) and included the installation of new ducting, two exterior condensers, two air handlers, and 4 ductless heads. This install would replace the oil heating system in the home and provide AC, which the home lacked previously.I'm an engineer by profession so I approached this with a very technical mindset. Given the size of the system and the investment, I made sure to quote around with recommended installers. Ocean State was not the least expensive option, but Aaron did a great job of communicating and ensuring me of their technical proficiency through the whole process that it seemed a no brainer to select their bid. Most importantly for me, he did not get impatient with my technical inquires or push back when I wanted more in-depth analysis for system sizing. Craig, the owner, was also involved and helped to convey the company's commitment to providing the right system and provide feedback/ strategy on how to best design/conceal as much of the system to make it look as seamless as possible. He also checked in several times during the project to make sure the quality was meeting his standards.The install team was great. Thanks to the ductless/commissioning team Josh and his helper (just kidding - thanks, Adam!) and the ducting crew - Nick, Jimmy, Jack, and Giovanni. Also thank you to Kristy and Jane back at the office for their help with coordination and the rebate/payment process.Since the install I'm not convinced all the systems are working as intended and with an install this large that's not surprising. I've been in continued contact with Aaron to discuss and he has been very supportive. He has reaffirmed the company's commitment to ensuring we are satisfied for the long haul. Exactly what I'd hope for from a company who stands behind their work!I'd highly recommend considering/selecting Ocean State to anyone considering HVAC installation in Rhode Island.Update - Nov '23Just wanted to add an update. As mentioned there was one part of the system I continued to be unhappy about it's performance on. I reached out to Aaron in early November and expressed the desire to try and resolve it. Aaron asked some questions and coordinated to get a tech out. They came out a few days later, installed a new thermostat and the system now works like a dream. I continue to be very happy with the quality of the installation and continued care and support from the team.

I like that Ocean State Air Solutions is a local full service operation and everyone appears to understand their roles and each others' roles. The install solutions re where and how were thoughtful and elegant.I deeply appreciated that they knew my time window to get this done was very short and they made it work well! From the design with Joe DeSilva, install with Jesse and Ethan, electric with Joe Lima, and office person Amber- All great! Mid May - We decided to call Ocean State Air Solutions from their positive reviews. Glad we did! Great service by technician Giovanni, who was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and on time. Customer service is A+. Would not hesitate to use this company again and will recommend to friends/family.July 27 - Had a problem with the fan unit. Called yesterday and Matthew came out this morning to fix it. Ac is working again! Matthew was great explaining what caused it and refilled refrigerant. What we like is that Matthew told us up-front that the refrigerant is expensive due to an older system. Great that company hires technicians who are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, courteous and ON TIME :-).

The owner was supposed to show up with Chris the new salesman. After a thorough conversation with the booking representative I thought for sure my needs would be met. Unfortunately my time has been wasted and I must report this to Mitsubishi since this is supposed to be a Diamond dealer. Chris lacked experience and all knowledge of HVAC. That’s not the worst part! He promised me some pricing as I already having completed the Rise Audit and being pre approved for credit was waiting to improve my hvac was Ghosted by Chris. No email no call no follow through. Disgusting waste of the 5th of July morning. Thanks for wasting my time and doing nothing to try and earn my business. I guess you have to pay this company for estimates

The ladies in the office were just so helpful and answered every question I had. Lenny was great when he came out to help us decide what we needed. Our technicians, Anthony and Dylan, were just the nicest, hard working guys ever! I have never seen techs who were that knowledgable and hard working and they were neat as a pin!!
