Since the beginning of 2020, we have processed nearly 300 Rhode Island Energy rebates for our customers, putting approximately $323,000 back in their pockets.

Unlike most HVAC companies who participate in the RI Energy program, at Ocean State Air Solutions we take care of the rebate application for you. Many customers find it confusing and complicated to fill out (it is!) so we do it for you. All you have to do is wait for a check to arrive in the mail!

Any homeowner offsetting electric, oil, propane, or gas by installing air-source heat pumps (mini-split or ducted) is eligible to apply for a “standard rebate,” which is usually somewhere between $225-$600 depending upon the size of the new system.

Those offsetting electric, oil, or propane are eligible to apply for a 0% interest loan and an “enhanced rebate,” which is usually somewhere between $2,000-$5,000 depending upon the size of the heat pump system.

So, if you think heat pump installation is too expensive for you, consider applying for the Rhode Island Energy HEAT Loan and for the standard rebate! Qualified homeowners are eligible for a 0% (YES, ZERO PERCENT!) interest loan for up to $25,000 for a term of up to 84 months (SEVEN YEARS!).
